Primary twin-shaft shredder | D-HD
Industrial shredder primary | Industrial twin shaft shredders and rotary shears | first volumetric reduction of metals and electronic waste (WEEE)
The Stokkermill D-HD series twin-shaft shredders, available with electric or hydraulic drives, provide a highly flexible solution for shredding and volumetric reduction of a wide range of materials, processing residues, industrial waste, and as a primary shredder in material recovery for energy transition projects.
Each shaft is equipped with its own gearbox, ensuring maximum efficiency and reliability in the most demanding industrial applications. Blade design and precise control of processing parameters allow accurate management of output material size. When needed, D-HD series shredders can be fitted with grading screens of various sizes to meet material quality and desired output dimensions.
The D-HD series includes five models with electric drives ranging from 11 to 150 kW. Shredder blades come in a standard design or, starting with the D 40 model, with inserts to simplify cutting part replacement. Twin-shaft D-HD shredders are also available in custom configurations, with rotor lengths up to 98.4 in and variable power ratings upon request.
Stokkermill D-HD twin-shaft shredders are ideal for volumetric reduction and roughing of:
- scrap and waste electrical and electronic materials, WEEE, WEEE
- parts from vehicle demolition (bumpers, tanks, dashboards, sheet metal)
- plastics
- wood
- paper and cardboard
- electrical cables
- end-of-life tires ELTs
- scrap metal
