Shredder municipal solid waste | LC
Shredder municipal solid waste (MSW), shredding and reduction
The Stokkermill LC series municipal solid waste (MSW) shredders are designed without classifier screens for primary shredding of industrial waste and scrap, preparing materials for subsequent manual sorting or automatic separation.
The specially designed shafts and cutting counter-blades make LC shredders extremely versatile and robust, capable of handling heavy-duty and demanding applications. LC series shredders are available with electric or hydraulic drives. Shaft rotation is programmable, allowing independent movement and reversible rotation, adapting to different input materials and operating conditions.
LC shredders are controlled via a PLC interface, with options for remote control and remote assistance.
Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF):
SRF is a high-quality alternative to fossil fuels, produced from commercial waste such as paper, cardboard, wood, textiles, and plastics. It undergoes further processing to improve quality and calorific value, making it suitable for use in cement kilns. SRF is also produced from domestic and industrial non-hazardous waste, after removing non-combustibles like glass and metals. Shredded SRF is used in energy recovery plants to generate electricity, hot water, and district heating, particularly in Europe.
Extremely versatile, the Stokkermill LC series double-shaft shredders are available in two models and are ideal for volume reduction of:
